The short answer: a properly built salon website costs between £299 and £1,299 in 2026, depending on how many pages your services need. A single-page site with booking and click-to-call sits at the bottom of that range. A twelve-page site with every treatment on its own page sits at the top. Those are our published prices, and this whole article follows the same rule as our price list: real numbers, nothing dressed up.
Key takeaways
- A one-page salon site with booking wired in: £299
- A five-page site, which suits most salons: £649
- Rescuing a broken or dated site you already have: £449
- Ongoing care, if you want it: £39 to £69 a month, cancel any time
- The domain should always be in your name, never your agency's
The real price table
These are the prices we charge at Build My Digital. We publish them because "request a quote" usually means the price depends on what the salesperson thinks you can pay.
| What you get | Price |
|---|---|
| Landing page (one page, booking and click-to-call wired in) | £299 |
| Website rescue (rebuild up to 3 pages on your existing domain) | £449 |
| Five-page site, hand-coded | £649 |
| Eight-page site | £949 |
| Twelve-page site | £1,299 |
| Extra treatment page | £89 each |
| Google Business Profile setup | £179 |
| Measurement setup (analytics with UK-compliant consent) | £199 |
Half up front, half at launch. The quote you accept is the price you pay, in writing, before anything starts.
What actually drives the price
Page count is the honest driver, because pages are where the work lives. Each treatment page needs its own copy, its own booking path and its own reason to rank. A salon offering cuts, colour, nails and aesthetics competes in four different searches, so it needs four different pages.
Things that should NOT drive the price:
- Templates dressed as custom work. A theme installed in an afternoon is not a £2,000 job.
- Your postcode. The work is the same in Wigan as it is in Chelsea.
- Licence fees passed on to you. Hand-coded sites have no page-builder subscription hiding in the invoice.
The fees that should never be on your invoice
Ask any agency these three questions before you sign:
- Who owns the domain? It must be registered in your name. If the agency owns it, they own your business's front door. Expect to pay £10 to £15 a year for it, directly, so it stays yours.
- What happens if I cancel the care plan? The correct answer: the site stays yours and stays live. With us you lose the updates and monitoring, nothing else. No exit fee.
- Is there a monthly minimum? A build should be a build. Ongoing costs should be optional, priced separately, and cancellable.
Where your reviews come in
Most salons we scan have hundreds of five-star reviews on Google and Fresha, and a website that mentions none of them. Your reviews are the most persuasive thing you own. A site built around them, with each treatment on its own page and booking wired to every button, is what turns searches into appointments. That is the whole build philosophy, and it is why we ask about your reviews before we ask about anything else.
How to check what you have now
Before spending anything, run your current site through our free scanner at buildmydigital.co.uk/scan. It runs the same 30 checks we run before any build ships: technical health, SEO, trust signals and conversion. The full report shows instantly, with no email required. If your site scores well, keep it. If it does not, the report shows exactly what a rebuild would fix.
Common questions
Can I pay monthly instead? The build itself is a one-time price, half up front and half at launch. Ongoing care is the monthly part: £39 or £69 a month, and the site stays yours if you cancel.
How long does it take? A five-page site is typically ready for your approval within a week of receiving your details, and live on your domain days after your go-ahead.
Do I have to write anything? No. We draft every page from your real services and reviews, and you correct rather than compose. Deeper professional copywriting is £89 a page if you want it.
What is not included? Domain registration (yours, £10 to £15 a year), photography, and copy beyond the pages quoted. Everything else in the price list is the whole price.
